Privacy & Data Use
This notice explains how FASTBOTS handles account, assistant, conversation, lead, analytics, and optional location data.
Who this notice covers
This notice applies to FASTBOTS account holders, authorized workspace users, visitors to our website, and people who interact with an assistant powered by FASTBOTS. A business that deploys an assistant may also have its own privacy notice and may act as the controller of the information collected through that assistant.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, authentication identifiers, organization membership, role, plan, and subscription status.
- Assistant content: business details, prompts, knowledge, branding, suggested questions, and handoff settings.
- Conversation and lead data: messages, contact details, company, business needs, summaries, booking activity, and other information a visitor chooses to share.
- Usage and device data: widget opens, interactions, timestamps, browser and device details, language, timezone, referral context, and approximate network information.
- Optional precise location: latitude, longitude, and accuracy only after a visitor affirmatively allows browser location access.
- Payment information: billing status, plan, and transaction references. Payment providers process card details; FASTBOTS does not store full card numbers.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, support, and improve the FASTBOTS platform.
- Generate assistant responses and carry out configured lead capture, analytics, booking, and handoff workflows.
- Authenticate users and administer organizations and plans.
- Measure reliability, performance, adoption, and abuse.
- Process payments and communicate about service or account issues.
- Comply with law and protect users, FASTBOTS, and third parties.
AI processing
Messages and relevant assistant instructions may be sent to AI service providers to generate a response. Customers should avoid placing unnecessary sensitive personal information in prompts, knowledge, or conversations. Businesses deploying FASTBOTS are responsible for choosing appropriate assistant content and informing their visitors about how conversation data will be used.
How information is shared
We may share information only as needed with:
- The organization that owns or operates the assistant a visitor is using, including its authorized workspace members.
- Cloud hosting, database, AI, payment, analytics, email, security, and support providers that process data for the service.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
- A successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
FASTBOTS does not sell personal information for money.
Location choices
Precise browser location is optional. The widget requests it through the browser permission interface, and a visitor can deny the request and continue chatting. Permission can also be withdrawn in browser or device settings. When shared, location helps the assistant owner understand where qualified requests originate.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain legitimate business records. Retention can vary by data type, account status, and customer configuration.
FASTBOTS uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should use strong credentials, restrict workspace access, and avoid submitting information that is not needed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on location and applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. Account holders can update some information directly in the dashboard. Assistant visitors may need to contact the business that deployed the assistant first.
To submit a privacy request, email hello@softwarelabx.com. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request.
Children, international use, and updates
FASTBOTS is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed in countries other than the one where a user lives, with safeguards used where required. We may update this notice as practices or laws change and will post the revised date on this page.
